Transport

The L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate encourages all guests to use a safe means of transport when attending the festival.

All guests must park, or be dropped off and collected on the inner field at Kenilworth Racecourse, off Wetton Road. There are no pedestrian entrances or other drop off zones anywhere else at the course and ticketing will only happen on the inner field.

Pedestrian gates on Rosemead Avenue will not be open to any ticket or non ticket holders.

Only guests with annual car permits from Kenilworth Racecourse will be permitted to park or enter the track at the Pick ‘n Pay entrance.

All guests to use the inner field parking and ticketing area off Wetton Road.

The L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate works with Sport 24hrs, who are offering fixed rates between the following areas in Cape Town and Kenilworth Racecourse.

Payments can be made with cash, credit or debit cards.
There will be a Sport 24hrs transport station at the racecourse on the day.
Guests are urged to use taxi services to get to and from the racecourse.
